Instead the team suffered their 5th consecutive losing season and an offense that produced the 32nd ranked scoring and passing offense in the league. half time. He was unlucky earlier when his header hit the pole, when he
had overpowered the German defenders. Torres lifted the ball over

VIENNA, June 27 (Reuters) - Germany and Spain will be busy drawing up battle plans on Friday as they prepare for this weekend’s meeting in the European Championship final. Germany were the bookmakers’ favourites before the tournament and coach Joachim Loew will be looking to vindicate that with a better performance than in Wednesday’s tortuous 3-2 semi-final win over Turkey.

You can pick up either Germany or Spain as the favorite for the match from your own point of view. However, considering the stage of the tournament and the ability of the participating teams, I am not going to find out who is favorite in the match. The two teams play different style of football and if the two sides can really stick to their own style of football in the final then I think, it will only make the match more competitive and enjoyable in what has an indication of experiencing a classic final in Euro 2008 tournament.

Russia have slight injury worries over the trio of Diniyar Bilyaletdinov, Ivan Saenko and Alexander Anyukov, but all should be fit to play. Bilyaletdinov and Anyukov were restricted to light running at training, while Saenko did not complete the full session.
