Bloomberg hires NBC veteran to run TV, online ops.
News and financial data provider Bloomberg LP hired veteran television news executive Andrew Lack to run its expanding television, interactive and radio operations.
Lack will take over those operations from Matt Winkler, who will remain the chief of Bloomberg’s news group, which includes the Bloomberg wire service and other units, Bloomberg said in a statement on Tuesday.
AT&T Plans to Cut 12,000 Jobs
AT&T Inc. joined the recession’s parade of layoffs Thursday by announcing plans to cut 12,000 jobs, about 4 percent of its work force.
