RE: strongest pepper spray, for self defense I recommend Wildfire 18% pepper spray. For a test, I sprayed it on a tree trunk, got close and it stung my eyes. That`s strong. I hope I don`t have to use it but if I do, it should do the job.

As Kleenex is to facial tissues, so Mace is to pepper spray. There are other pepper spray brands out there like Pepper Shot and Fox Labs but Mace is the top brand name. They market Mace Pepper Batons and a Mace 10% Pepper Gel among others.
